The Presidents Training School is held for aspiring employees who want to become presidents based on Mr. Iwata's desire for all employees to exercise leadership. The study sessions are planned and managed by team members themselves, and include lectures by business partners' managers, book readings, Zen meditation, climbing Mt. Fuji, marathons, and other activities that not only train the mind but also develop mental and physical strength. Any aspiring employee who is interested in becoming a president is welcome to participate.

Calling people by their names

At IL Group, we do not refer to people by their titles, such as President, Department GM or Section Chief. We call them by their names such as Mr. X! We want to be an open company where everyone, regardless of position, can speak openly and honestly, and where people's opinions are actively taken into account. In addition, weekly departmental meetings are held to share good news from work and our personal lives, and to meet up and share information about what we are working on.

Office environment

The 3rd floor of IL Holdings has a presentation area equipped with large screen monitors, as well as a recreation area where employees can enjoy table tennis and darts.
It is freely available to all, regardless of department, and is used as a place for employees to interact. Employees can refresh themselves at the cafeteria, where drinks are available free of charge, including tea, juice, and corn potage soup.

In-house training

We have various human resource development programs for different positions and grades, from programs for all employees to those for managers and general employees. For example, for those in general employment, there is a program on assertive communication, through which we learn to express our opinions and thoughts honestly while respecting others. There is a program on anger management for section managers. For departmental GMs, training is position-specific and covers topics such as vision formulation skills. There are also approximately 1,200 e-learning titles for acquiring qualifications and developing skills, which can be taken anytime via smartphone or tablet.
